Description of openings and Prescribed Age Limit:

There are 17 openings for Assistant General Manager, out of which 2 are for Finance, 1 is for Human resources, 8 for Mechanical department, 3 for Electrical department, 1 for Marine and 2 for Naval Architecture.  To be recruited as Assistant General Manager the candidates should not be more than the age of 50 on 30^th November 2014.
The 11 vacancies for Senior Manger are 5 for Mechanical, 2 for Electrical, 1 for Electronics. 2 for Civil and 1 is for Legal Department. Applicants should not be more than 40 years of age on 30^th November 2014 to be eligible for this post.
There is 1 opening for Medical Officer. Candidates applying for this post should not be 35 years as on 30^th November 2014.

Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2018 Qualifications:

• Candidates applying for post Assistant General Manager (Finance) should be Chartered Accountants from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
• Assistant General Manager (HR) is required to possess a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources or Postgraduate Degree in Social Work with Industrial Relations and Personal Management specialization.
• For other posts pertaining to Engineering departments, candidates should be Engineering graduates with degrees in the respective streams.
• Senior Manager (Law) must be having L.L.B degree
• Senior Manager (Medical) should have MBBS Degree approved by the Medical Council of India or other Medical Councils belonging to states.
• Selection process will be based on interviews and group discussions.
