Goa International Airport: Dabolim Airport is considered as a pleasant and well maintained as per the reports which the government has provided. Land of beaches, Goa comprises of only one airport i.e. the Dabolim Airport so the maintenance of the airport is taken as compulsory element by the cleaners. The ICAO codification for the airport is GOI and also has an ICAO name i.e. VOGO. It’s officially called as Goa International Airport. It is identified as Dabolim Airport otherwise. The airport is being operated by the board of authorities i.e. Airport Authority of India. It is stated as one of the busiest airport of all 132 airports present in India as per a survey conducted in 2012. The airport came into existence since 1950s and has expanded its territory to about two terminals.
Goa International Airport Terminal 1 has been set up in early years which operate as public, private, civil, international, metro and other non metro sector as well.
Goa International Airport Terminal 2 has been constructed for the usage of international flights. However, the landing of international flights is limited in amount and operates in the areas of Persian Gulf only. The terminal allows the landing of Air India and Qatar Airways only. Foreign planes were earlier not allowed to land in Goa but in recent years of development, it allowed the landing of the planes but limited.
